Weekly Minutes Log

Professor Notash sent out an e-mail to all groups to inform them that course documents were now published and viewable on canvas. Professor Notash reminded the groups to review the course syllabus as it contains important information and additional sections that are required to be added to our project report documents. Contrary to the proposal semester, Notash informed the groups that there will be no weekly meetings, however he is still expecting weekly e-mail updates every Friday and weekly website updates every Thursday.

Professor Notash sent out an e-mail to all groups to inform them that there will be a meeting on the following Wednesday for each group to present an update on their progress so far in the semester. Each presentation needed to address an updated budget, revised timeline, implementation updates, and success criteria evaluation to name a few points.

Today each group met to present their progress update for the professor over zoom. After our group presented, the professor gave feedback to us recommending we focus more on system integration and hasten our progress on integrated system testing. With this feedback in mind, the team has elected to set a meeting in order to start mounting components to framework and testing the integrated system. Our highest priority for this meeting is to successfully transmit and receive data between microprocessors and begin putting the mounting hardware on the frame. Lastly, before the meeting concluded, Professor Notash scheduled following progress updates over zoom every 1-2 weeks on Tuesdays at around 3 p.m.

Professor Notash sent out an e-mail to all groups to inform them that the next meeting will occur the following Tuesday on October 27, starting at 2 p.m. This meeting will focus on the teams providing substantial technical progress during the meeting for the professors review. Our team will be going first and are planning on presenting a 20 minute presentation on the technical progress we have made in the past 2 weeks.

Today our group met with Prof. Notash to review our technical progress. We discussed our framework and system integration as well as details revolving around the sensory data, Bluetooth communications, technical schematics, specifications, and dimensions.

Professor Notash sent out an e-mail today to set up scheduling for another technical progress update, the final group meeting scheduled for the semester. The team chose to meet with the professor on Friday, November 20th.

The team met with Professor Notash today to discuss the progress being made towards integration and prototype testing. The team expressed the obstacles that were faced and the plan to overcome them. Professor Notash provided the team with some feedback and reminded the team that the Final Report is due on Thanksgiving, November 26th.

Professor Notash sent out an e-mail, informing the groups that the deadline for the final report has been pushed back from by the end of the day on Thanksgiving to by the end of the day on Friday, November 27th.
